hi! got my x ran over by forklift truck
(and this happened last thursday indeed )do you guys have any suggestions where to get another x player or something similar, considering sound quality (thats the most important thing), battery life and memory capacity? (as i have cleared my mind a little bit - think most of you would agree that this was a freaking disaster - i must go for another X,whatever it takes, i could not see another option )new forecoming A series - no noise cancelling, half memory of a X, lesser battery - do not want btw, during an autopsy it seemed that everything exept screen may have survived, no visible damage, although the aluminium (or whatever metal it) is frame was slightly bended Last edited by jim lord; 08-14-2011 at 02:45 PM. |

I'm hoping they change their minds and the 64gb model eventually gets sold here in the USA - I'll be on that sucka like YESTERDAY!!!
But I suggest waiting for the A series also, as the X series is DOA - and you'll get robbed trying to get another 1.

I played with the new A in the Sony shop and didn't really like it, poor screen mainly, they've done away with the OLED of the old A and X series but haven't increased screen size or resolution.

Yep, it appears Sony is out-of-touch with what would sell in the U.S. now that big smartphones are owned by the messaging masses. I'm personally interested in leaving all hand-held devices behind and simply having a smart-chip implanted into my brain. It should interface with the aural and visual centers to pump music and videos straight to my brain from the web. I suspect Google will make it.

Not google, as apple has probably already patented that tech and is just waiting in the wings to sue.

Then they'll have to wait until I finish suing them, because that's my patent, filed ten years ago.
US Patent number 7429672, look it up. (OK, not really, but I bet you did look it up!) |

Yep, that's the one. All those acids and alkiline stuff is what makes the bass work.
