I have looked all over the internet with varying answers both yes and no.
Can someone with an x series just load up a wavfile for me and see what happens please? Khushy |

Format(s) Supported : MP3/ WMA/ AAC/ L-PCM
L-PCM = wav? idk. Use mp3 and save some memory. Using .wav is ridiculous. |

Someone doesn't know what they are talking about. Sonys play .wav files. Look at the Sonystyle.uk site. Linear PCM is .wav.

supports also L-PCM lossless Wave, yes... But I don't hear any difference between it and mp3 320kbps to be honest, lossless is anyway basicly only for music storing IMO.
They're wrong lol I got different kinds of wave files in my X library and it plays them all flawlessy |

I can hear the difference when using great IEM, but not the stock ones.
Anyone know how to separate albums on Walkman when using WAV files? I'm on a Mac so I can't use any of the Sony apps that came with the Walkman. Drag and drop is all I have. |

i can hear the diff also
![]() but i only have 5 albums loaded. i just drag and drop also. best way is to put the wavs in a named folder. then you can search with the folder option for that album. as FOR ME, all the wavs are called "track1" an so on |
