Zune HD in the Car

Hey guys,

I was wondering how you get the Zune HD to function properly while driving.

Since the highest "timeout" setting (screen fading to black) is only 5 minutes - every time I want to switch songs "on the fly" - I have to either press the "media" button on the left or on the lock button on the top, and drag the lock screen up.

This is no problem during normal usage, but while driving it's very distracting and unsafe.
I want to use the Zune HD sort of like a GPS(mounted on the front) and be able to change songs with one motion and without looking too much.

any way this could be achieved?
