J3 lifespan?

Ok, so in an unfortunate mishap involving a washing machine, my new (to me) D2 was rendered unusable

I was thinking about getting a J3 when in occurred to me that it has been out for a very long time. Do you think that Cowon will be releasing a successor in the next few months, or is the J3 going to continue to be the best of the best for a while yet?

i'd suspect a new device coming in a few months or so near december

But what do you think are the chances of it being on par with/better than the J3?

i expect them to be making the real D3 device next maybe, as you can see....the D3 wasn't a big hit bcuz of its lagging

Yea, but that's a little out of my budget, I think I'm gonna go ahead and get a J3
