COWON j3 Not charging help! Says full when connected to computer

I've been searching everywhere and can't find the solution. I got my J3 yesterday and put on some music and played it for awhile, and then left it running because I heard with the ear buds I got it needs to get use to the player or something.

Anyways I plug the usb into my J3 and then into my computer and the screen of my J3 says USB Connected Battery Full. I unplug my J3 and turn it on, and the phone dies within seconds saying Battery Low.

Please help, hopefully it's something stupid on my part, I just want my cowon working
