Random shut offs

I've had my J3 for about 4 months and everything has worked fine until now. Recently, i've been getting random shut offs on my J3. When it restarts, it goes back to the song where i initially turned on the player. (EX: start on song 68 and play through to song 126 for instance. when i turn the player back on, it's back at song 68). ideas as to why this is happening. My player has a mix of mp3 and Flac files

There might randomly triggered a setting for auto off.
Go to settings--> Time-->Timer--> put the auto off function to "OFF"

If this was the problem please let us know.

Unfortunately this was not the problem. The auto off was set to 10 min bit I set it to off. But it just shut off on me again so that isn't the issue

Maybe you can try backing up all of your data and then resetting to factory settings.

is the player memory full? mine was completely full up and i started getting what sounds like the same problem. removing some of the files and doing database update (settings->system) sorted it for me
