Help! Thinking about buying an ipod touch but want a cowon! Is there a cowon option?

I have been needing a new mp3 player for sometime as my samsung p2 stopped working long ago. I was looking for a player with touch screen, good sound, and lot's of features. I saw the D3 and it looked like an amazing player until i saw how many people disliked the speed. Then I was thinking about the J3 but i would like the Wi-fi of the d3 and that's why i started looking at the touch. Will the D3 ever be fast enough to compare to the speeds of the J3 or the Touch?

Reading about the D3 it doesn't sound too good - as if Cowon didn't really finish it before releasing.

Why not get an iPod Touch so you have your wi-fi and apps, but also consider a Cowon player such as an i9 (same great sound of the J3, but cheaper) as your dedicated music player?

That might cost as much as a D3 but will probably give you a better experience.
