I own a S739 and I still love it, especially for the superb audio qualtity. But I'm still pissed why it's not compatible with the Xbox 360. I love to listen to music when playing games. I just thought maybe it's working putting it from MTP to MSC mode, but it's still only charging and it won't show up as USB Device on the Xbox 360. I guess there's no solution for it and that they just don't like each other.

Hmm, in clean MSC mode, the Xbox should see it as simply a mass storage device. Perhaps Sony or Microsoft are purposefully making these devices incompatible for market rivalry reasons.

Buy a PS3, it's better.

Try formatting the device and copying all the music onto it using MSC. I believe MTP encrypts the files in some way so they are not visible using MSC. If you use MSC for everything, I reckon it should work.
Of course, the Xbox 360 is supposed to be fully compatible with MTP... But I guess its not ![]() @Satellite 6 - They seem to be basically the same thing for all intents and purposes. I bought the 360 because it had more RPG games at first (the PS3 caught up later) and now both consoles have pretty much the same games on them. |
