I havent listen to the zune podcast for months now....

Ill be sure to listen to the podcast later... Dave's accent is awesome =)

So was anything of actual use said? Or the usual corporate nothingness?

Seems I have to download the Zune software and I dont want to waste HDD space on this machine I'm on just to listen to it.

Would be like installing Realplayer now.

Thanks.

It locked up a couple of times after 10 excruciating minutes and you cant FF through it. Maybe they only expect a few people to listen to it so set the bandwidth accordingly. I couldnt sit through that again.

Can anyone else precis it down to anything useful?

Sounded to me like overhearing two people on a train talking "Xbox..Phone..Xbox..Xbox..Phone..Phone...Xbox"

Dave's a nice guy but the two regular hosts drive me nuts with their incessant perkiness and overwrought enthusiasm....lol. So I couldn't bring myself to listen to this podcast.

Yeah from the 10 mins I listend to, I got the feeling what they were trying to say could be condensed down by 50% at least. An hour is a long time to expect folks to sit and listen.

Just the facts man.

I didn't listen to it. At 15 to 20 minutes I might have given it a try but I suspect it isn't filled with that much about the Zune I use anyway. Probably more about the 'Zune Ecosystem' - wp7, xbox, etc and I don't use those.

Agree. I download the podcast then skip to what I wan't to hear. But most of the time the hosts get on my nerves

I actually listen to whole podcast. As for an overview of the podcastand what they talked, after the banter between Jess and Dave everything was same old same old from the marketplace guests. Major Nelson was this weeks guest, and that was pretty interesting, and they did a live inbox for the rest of the show.

I listened to the whole podcast as well, always have, always will. . .

I thought that Dave did a good job as a temporary co-host. Though I did notice a lack of Matt. The podcast was very quiet.

Anyways, unfortunately there was no news about anything other than new additions to the marketplace, which is no surprise.

Long live Zune. Long live the Zune Insider.

Listened to the podcast today (not for the first time) and OMG! "Our" (I can say that 'cause I'm ozzie) was on it!!! So just had to drop in here to say awesome job Dave! And when are you getting your own show??
