Wall adapter

Hi,
I'm leaving on a roadtrip for spring break tomorrow, (yeah!!!) and my zhd is going to be my best buddy during the long drive. I don't have the wall charger for it, but I have an ipod usb wall charger laying around the house. I was wondering if it would work for my zune, without damaging it. And if not, would can the zune charge from a mac laptop without having the software on it?

Make sure the charger has 5V written on it, if it does then it should work for the zune.

Yeah, ipod chargers wont hurt it, and im pretty sure you can charge from a computer that doesn't have the zune software on it.

The wall charger will work, and I think the Mac will, too, but it may just trickle charge. Not sure about that.

Any computer with a USB port will charge it. As well as any USB wall adapter.

The issue is (like the one that I got) is is it safe. Most are, I just went super cheap, and didn't realize that mine offered up twice the current, which doesn't cause permanent damage, but makes it do funky things when it's plugged in, rendering it unusable.

Twice the current shouldn't do anything strange at all.

It makes phantom presses happen on the screen so that once it's going with the screen locked, it's good, but it makes the screen unusable, which practically makes the device unusable.
