Ape files problem
Hi, first time poster. I'm having a weird problem with ape files. MOST of them play fine on my J3. But some produce 'invalid file'. I haven't got a clue why this is. The 'invalid files' play fine in foobar and vlc and wmp, and they don't seem to be any different to the .ape files which DO play on the J3. Anyone else encountered this problem?

Maybe they're APE -c5000 ('insane') encodes?
My suggestion would be to just convert them to FLAC. It's a better format in about every aspect, and it's much easier on the hardware as well.
