Default Stand up comedy

Are there any stand up fans on the boards? If so who are your favorites and even some of their best shows or routines.

I've got a few favorites:

Eddie Murphy
Robin Williams
Richard Pryor
George Carlin
Joe Rogan
Joey Diaz
Ari Shaffir
George Lopez
Russell Peters
Dane Cook

I'm fairly new past George Carlin on the list, I'm just getting into stand up and theres some great comics out there.

You pretty named all my faves [except for Lopez and Cook - not a fan of either]...

Add:

Chris Rock
Dave Chapelle [shame on you for omitting him ]
Lenny Bruce
Steven Wright
Redd Foxx
Rita Rudner [early stuff - she was hot and funny]
Dennis Miller

Have you ever seen the documentary "When Stand Up Stood Out"? Awesome and classic stuff...

I enjoy Opie & Anthony quite a bit from the few times I've heard them as far as radio shows go.

I don't listen to comedy, don't know why, I have a couple of friends who are quite into it, but I never bother to look....

Another vote for Bob & Tom. Not only do they feature many great comedy bits (such as Mr. Obvious), they also feature many great comedians.

Chris Rock and Eddy Murphy are my two current favorites.

But do not ever forget about Richard Pryor (RIP) He was one of the best.

Also, there will never be a replacement for Johnny Carson (RIP)

Steven K Amos would have to be one of my favourites. Hilarious bugger, even if most of the stuff I see him in he is bagging out everything and everyone! Haha.

On second thoughts, will not post a video - sometimes our humor is taken a little harshly (re: Saturday night live debacle)

I recently got a Hype Tape-to-MP3 converter that I'm using to covert all of my old Redd Foxx tapes.
