Default cant find a good deal on the cowon j3 16gb
although i love the J3 16GB and am willing to pay full price for it, im just wondering if anybody could help me find a better deal for it (i can get it on amazon for about $220) thanks in advance!

i'm going to buy it on the first web site of this discussion, just waiting for the 32gb black one. They have very competitive price.

Cyberport.de, Amazon.de, mp3-player.de, AMP3 UK, and a few others have the 16GB version for decent-ish prices (as far as EU prices go).

well, the 32 gb is 224€ at exportprive, i think the cheapest in Europe. Do you know exportprive?

where can one for a good price in America? i am thinking of going to Amazon but i don't know about buying electronics from there, I'm scared they could put a virus on it and then send it to me.

Squzalkitty: thinking that Amazon, the world's biggest online shop (and one of the most reputable) would put a "virus" on a device they are selling is just plain silly.

Stevebg88: I never dealt with Exportprive, but they seem to be legit, from all I read.

I purchased a white 32GB J3 from them without issue, but someone else had issues with their return policies once their player bricked (within a week of receiving it). Because of this, I might be more "privy" to buy from a retailer such as Amazon.

I noticed the J3's price has gone down over the last few days: $284 -> $250 for 32GB and $220->$183 for 16GB. Maybe it's now within your budget?

Well from Italy i could buy from amp3 for about 255€ shipped (ONLY player) or from exportprive for 220€ + about 15€ shipping costs (player + jelly case + screen protector)

The gap is not irrelevant...

edit: ^ that's my guess when you ask "from where he physically ordered" and I'd think you have to pay import duty (taxes) on any inbound orders from other countries, I know we have them here.
