KRK Rockit 6 Ferrari Grey
Picked a set of these up the other day for a friend, getting them was somewhat of an adventure, as the first two I bought ended up being a Passive Black and yellow version and an Active Ferrari Grey version.
  After going back to Guitar Center and exchanging them(took two tries to find another active Ferrari Grey Monitor). Finally got a matching set, took them back to the hotel room and tested them, although I was being decent(could only hear them 10 rooms down the hall) they sounded pretty good.   I haven't yet put them up next to my Wharfedale Evo2-10's but I will. But for the price they are very very good speakers, and IMO at that price active is a huge bonus.

Nice buy Syndrome ! I use the active 6 series in my home theater setup through a pre amp and it is one of the best setups i have had to date. I did not know they made passive version of the g2 though.
