I was checking Facebook and this promo code was posted on Anberlin's page. It's good for 35% off any universal fit ultimate ear headphones from the official store.

Basically you could get a Ultimate Ears 600 for a little over $60 shipped, or the 700 for $95. Been considering these, but does anyone know if they are better/worse than the Panasonic hje900 (which I have)?

I saw that on the Anberlin post too. I thought it was a little strange.

Anyway, is the 600 the same as the SuperFi 5? They look a lot alike.

Also, be sure and compare prices. 35% off MSRP may not be the best deal. (TripleFi is cheaper on Amazon.)

EDIT: According to that other forum the SuperFi 5 has been rebranded as the UE 600.

Never heard it myself. Maybe someone else hear has. My guess is that UE rather than slash the price of it's aging SuperFi 5 they just decided to rebrand it as the UE 600.

As far as being worser there was guy over at head-fi who made the switch to the panas from the 700 and was extremely pleased. I doubt he'll be going back. Compared to the triple fi's there is no comparison I doubt the 700's could hold a candle to them. Good thing is you have the panas so your in good hands.
