Durable Mp3 player

Hi guys.

In need of some advice. I am a snowboarder and am looking for a durable mp3 player that will be able to take some abuse whilst in my pocket. I have a j3 but not that keen to bash it about too much! Was looking at the sansa clip+ because of the sound quality and a decent price. Is this an option as a durable player or should I look elsewhere?
