Battery discharged for 4 months bad?

So I've been overseas for about 3 months now and I accidentally left my samsung P3 at home. Now, I imagine by now it is discharged completely, but if I won't be back for 2-3 more months should I leave it discharged or have someone plug it into a wall socket? I can't really find an answer to this on Google because I'm apparently the only person on the internet with a bad memory But I digress, am I going to lose my amazing battery life when I return or will this one lengthy discharge be forgiven when I get home and give it the power it craves? Thanks for any responses. If I need to I can rush a friend over and have it plugged in.

If you leave a device with a LiIon or LiPoly battery alone for long, it's best to have it charged at 40% of its capacity and stored in a cool place. If it was completely discharged before you left, chances are good that it deep discharged by the time you get back, meaning it won't turn on anymore. Sometimes charging a deep discharged battery for 2, 3 days might revive it, sometimes it won't.

It was fully charged before I left because I had every intention of bringing it with me. But I imagine it has to have discharged itself by now like my sony walkman nwz did. But since it was full do you think it has a good chance?
