Quesiton regarding firmwares

I have a s9 16gb. Does anyone know what firmware gives the longest battery life? Because my 1.53 firmware just gives me approx 8 hours of cont. music (eq on, vol 20). And do i need to reformat my unit to fat32 before copying the firmware on the unit? Thanks!

Elaiandpeps, 2.52 seems to have better batter life but 2.53 is not far behind. So far 2.53 seems to be the most stable and has a lot of updates. So, go with 2.53 and if you're not satisfied you can always roll it back to 2.52. Hope this helps.
