How to use LRC Lyrics

- Create the folder 'LRC' in the devices root (where the Music, Pictures,... folders are located)
- Put the LRC files in the new folder
- Rename the files depending on your UCI settings
--- Option 'Track's Tags'
----> Rename the files to: 'Title - Artist - Album.lrc'
----> Example: 'A Test - Kizune - Aero Music.lrc'
--- Option 'Track's filename'
----> The LRC files must have the same filename as their corresponding track.
----> Example: 'test.flac' -> LRC: 'test.lrc'

The Menu

Press the menu button (button with the arrow pointing down) and the menu opens.
But where is AB-repeat, the ability to enable shaking/tilting and the options screen?
Just swipe to the left or right side (start the gesture on the menu, not the album art) and you'll see the other menu items.

The QuickAccess Menu

In Aero Music there is a menu similar to Dark Evolution's QuickAccess menu, but you open it in another way here.
Just press and hold the menu button to open the QuickAccess menu.
Note: S9 users won't see the button to change the speaker mode (on, off, auto).

The Playlist Manager

The Playlist Manager can be found in the third page of the menu. When you tap the button, the menu closes and the playlist viewer opens. There are no playlists yet of course.
Tap the X button to close the viewer, or tap the right button to open the Playlist Manager. Here you can add and remove playlists.

When you have added a playlist, you have to fill it first. Open it in the manager and then tap 'Fill Playlist'. All tracks in your regular fave list are added to the playlist. Please note that your tracks must have title, artist and album tags.

You can remove or rearrange track by going into the playlist and tapping 'Tracks'.
Then you'll see the playlist entries. The buttons to rearrange/remove tracks are invisible. Tap a track entry on the first third of the screen to move it up, tap it in the middle of the screen to move it down, or tap it on the third third of the screen to remove it. Don't worry, while you press a button there is a popup shown which shows which action you're about to perform.

How to go to different landscape views

In standard view, move the album art to the center in order to go to the showcase. Move the album art to the left side to go to Album Art Wallpaper view.

In showcase, move the album art to the left side to go to standard view or move the album art to the right side to go to Album Art Wallpaper view.

In Album Art Wallpaper view, swipe left to go to the showcase or swipe right to go to standard view.

Note about the Performance Tweak
(Settings > General > Tweak Performance)

If you have problems with the wallpaper staying black after leaving Aero Music, turn this setting off. The tweak removes the wallpaper to improve the performance which causes problems with a few custom launchers.

It works 100%ly with the S9's default Launcher, the J3's default Launcher and Klaus Launcher. About other launchers: I don't know. Just check whether the tweak is causing problems with the wallpaper and turn it off if so.

Aero Music v1.0 Beta 4

Changes:

- Added Option to change the album art reflection's visibility
- Added option to activate the extended volume gesture (known from Dark Evolution)
- Added Menubar theme 'Invisible'
---> Works only in combination with the seekbar theme 'Fancy'

---> The menubar is still on its place, it's just not visible. This means, when you tap the invisible browser button (when you press a button it becomes visible), the browser opens, when you tap the invisible home button, the mainmenu is opened and so on.

- Added better alternative album covers
- Playlist Manager: When you are in the track list and you reached the last page, swipe up to jump to the first one. Vice versa if you are in the first page and you swipe down.

How to install PlugIns

Usually, just extract the contents of the archive into 'System/Flash UI/Aero Music/PlugIns'.
Then, open the file 'plugins.xml' in 'System/Flash UI/Aero Music/' which may look like this:

<?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>
<plugins>
<plugin file="plugin.swf" />
<plugin file="whatever.swf" />
</plugins>

Just add a new line between '<plugins>...</plugins>' and insert

<plugin file="filename.swf" />

where filename is the filename of the plugin.

Aero Music v1.0 Beta 7

Changes:

- Bugfixes
- Improved Playlist Manager
---> Split the 'Fill Playlist' entry to two entries: 'Fill Playlist (Overwrite)' and 'Fill Playlist (Append)'
---> Added entry 'Remove Duplicate Tracks' in Playlist Name > Tools
- New PlugIn: Quick Links
---> Shows two buttons: 'album' and 'artist'. The first button automatically browses to the current album (if you're playing a track from the fave list, the fave list is left) of the current artist, and the other button browses to the current artist only. The current track will pause for a moment, but the state is restored automatically, means the track resumes automatically where it stopped.

Aero Music v1.0 Beta 8

Changes:

- Bugfixes
- Enabled gestures in Lyric Viewer (except when TXT lyrics are shown)
- Added possibility to give user EQs custom names in EQ editor (the second infobar still shows 'User X' as current EQ)
- Added option to disable upscaling
---> Since I have to load the full album art to determine whether it's smaller than 272x272, album art larger than 272x272 is pixelated

Note:

Disable the g-sensor or set it to tilt to prevent problems. The horizontal mode is about to be added and causes in the current version only a black screen. It goes back to normal when you go to portrait mode, but the UI will be crazy then.

I think it really starts to be an awesome UI !
Thanks very much for that !!!

One thing I liked a lot in ark Evolution was the volume "pop up" which indicated with a bigger font the volume level when increasing or lowering volume level.
This allowed to view immediately the volume level without having to look at the small icon in the menu bar.
Do you think that would be a doable thing in this UI as well ?
Or it's a choice not to put it in the first place ?

Cheers !

*edit*
Also, another thing I noticed is that when using the "fancy" seekbar style, the bottom of the album art is cropped, as the seekbar is "on top" of it. Would it be possible to move / resize the album art, or even better, lower the seekbar / bottom menu so that the album art stays complete ?
What do you think ?

Awesome, Kizune, thanks a lot.

I was wondering about the landscape mode - what's the meaning of the left/right arrows in the middle view? They don't do anything and their visual cue sure is to tap them. At least that's how I interpret them.

Also, in landscape view, it might be good to have a "neverending circle" with the three view modes. I.e. having the possibility to slide the first view to the left to get to the third view, and sliding the third view to the right, to get to the first view. Just an idea...

"what's the meaning of the left/right arrows in the middle view?"

They are just there to look good.

About the never-ending circle: That's a good idea, I'll definitely add it to my todo list.

Aero Music v1.01

Changes:

- Bugfixes
--- Fixed bug that the lyrics panel isn't shown when you opened a track using Track Preview
--- Fixed that the play/pause button flickers under certain conditions in Landscape Mode

Note about the Performance Tweak (Settings > General > Tweak Performance)

If you have problems with the wallpaper staying black after leaving Aero Music, turn this setting off. The tweak removes the wallpaper to improve the performance which causes problems with a few custom launchers.

It works 100%ly with the S9's default Launcher, the J3's default Launcher and Klaus Launcher. About other launchers: I don't know. Just check whether the tweak is causing problems with the wallpaper and turn it off if so.
