AVRCP Profile 1.3 or higher

Does any portable MP3 or PMP player support AVRCP 1.3 or higher? ....1.4 would be ideal!

My car and home stereo receive both support it and I would like to be able to stream via Bluetooth while also being able to control the music and see the metadata.

While any player with Bluetooth mentions that it has it, I haven't seen any specs for any device that mentions the version of AVRCP they support. You may need to email the tech support at each company to get your question answered. Start with Samsung, as they've shown the most aggressive use of bluetooth in their devices.
