Default Slightly visible dark vertical bar on screen

When I watch videos and look at my screen in general I see a bar about 1/2inch wide that is slightly darker than the rest of the screen. For instance during the transition after clicking music in the menu, and I just see the back ground it is noticeable. Does anybody else have the same thing? I just got the J3 today, should I consider returning it? :Edit: The bar is a darker blue. What do you have to do to restore the player to factory default? I want to try that before I think about returning it. The line is just barely visible, but can still be seen. I just want to know it is normal to see such a line, or if something is wrong with my screen. Thanks, Governor.

Really?? Please someone tell me if they have experienced screen defects other than the raised corner thing. I just want to know if I should return it. The lines I see are on some blacks, and grays, and are always in the same spot.

I've never seen or heard of this so it's a problem. And you've seen this bar in menus and not just when you play videos? I'm just trying to see of the vid itself could be an issue.

Lines appear in both video and in menus. But only are really visible on light blacks, grays and some blues in menus. I have found that is the most visible when I watch the screen and navigate menus in the dark. I have 23 days to send it back to amazon for a new one. I'll probably end up sending it back just so that I don't regret it later.

Do that...

Artifacts or lines are not something I experience or plan to experience with my J3. The AMOLED screen is one of the J3's best features, get one that works.

Upon further inspection, I have discovered that my J3 does have a defective screen. I took a picture on my player, enlarged it, panned it around, and Voila you can see the bars I was originally talking about. (Please note that even after panning the photo, the lines never moved they remained in the same position on the screen not the picture itself.)
Here's what it looked like:

I am in the midst of contacting Cowon about getting the player replaced.

I got my J3 replaced by Amazon a few days ago and everything is working great. There are no problems with the screen, and without lines it is a lot more enjoyable. Also for some reason the UI seems to run quite a bit faster on the new one.
