My iaudio7 brick

I have a problem with my repoductor iaudio7, the day yesterday listening to mp3 player and display erroneous characters. turn off the player and did not ignite. use occupies the "tctool" flashed with firmware 1.7 and 1.8 all with the process, but when you disconnect the mp3 and then on, it goes black and does nothing more, I return to the iaudio flash and the same ... ... aca en chile no more iauidio sold and would be a shame to let my beloved player .. hopefully you can help me .... thank you very much

Did you read the other guide http://iaudiophile.net/forums/showpo...20&postcount=1, seems less fishy near the end. Keep in mind some rare times they've been bricked beyond repair because of a simultanious hardware issue, but I wish you good luck.

You can get firmware v1.17 here, it's the second fw on that post. I'm not sure if you really need the font fix as v1.17 should have fonts included but I don't have the font fix anymore as it was included within the last version of u3CodepagePatch.exe (program to make fonts larger by MaxST). But I'm sure someone has it on iaudiophile or you might want to pm him over there, good luck.

looks like you getting closer, you could retry step 5, btw did you find the fontfix?

All I could do is send a pm or two, the same as you, best you do it direct ... I'm sure someone has it, also it's possible that someone who does have it will see this thread. I do have the FontPatch if you wish but I'm sure the fontfix is different file.

Edit: I went ahead and posted into that thread http://iaudiophile.net/forums/showth...398#post307398 and if someone gets it to me, I'll follow up and rar it on abi for future use ...

I have a question. and if you flash your player with firmware 1.8 and to bring three including the Font file might get something?

You need to use v1.17 AFAIK no one's done it with .18, I found the file you need but having net problems to upload, I'll get it up as soon as I can.

sorry for bothering again but returned to spend the same problem of the screen is too strange because it came back off the player and did not turn ... Now I went back to follow the same steps but I get the screen with strange caracters and install the fonfix that attached in the guide ... if you have another solution or another file might be included please fontfix

That’s strange, didn’t you say it worked the first time? Did you unzip the rar before you put it on the player? I’m sure that has to be the file (I7_FO.BIN) as that’s what I read on rockbox site, if it’s not working now I would try several times again. If it still doesn’t work I am stumped.

I do have the V1-U3FontPatch and V2-U3CodepagePatch files but those are used for the large font mod, so I wouldn't use them.
