Default Safely Removing Hardware

Got my S9 for Christmas. When connected to a Windows 7 laptop or my Win XP desktop it does not list the option in the system tray to safely remove hardware. Should I be concerned? Don't want to brick it. It's in MTP mode at present. FW version 2.52.

You won't see the safely remove hardware option if you are in MTP mode.....that's only for MSC mode. If you stay in MTP, and you're sure that nothing is being written to the player, then it should be perfectly safe to unplug it.
