I read that it only works for UK residents, or at least it works for me.

Log into the EA site, then go here (offers page from the EA store if you wish to find it manually):

It might have some weird DRM on it, but a free game is a free game right?

Lol , both ea and ubisoft have drm that make getting an std look nicer than having to deal with it. Giving it away for free but having to deal with that drm is like saying hey i can make out with this dead hooker for free. Though I did just pick up the game on the ps3 , if your hardware is decent i am sure the pc version is just as fun and good looking.
