Default to do list app

This is a flash todo list designed specifically for the Cowon S9. there are many features I want to add to this, but so far it seems pretty functional. I whipped it up real quick in about a week (having never used Flash before) so if there are any problems please let me know by emailing me or posting here.

This app is released under the terms and conditions of the GNU General Public License version 2.0. for all you guys that don't know what that means, just include the source code and your modifications if you modify and redistribute the program.

uploaded again, fixed lots of bugs ... that's what I get for uplodaing junk before I test it one more time.

it's still not perfect, yet, but better.

bugs I've noticed:

* editing doesn't work on the the cowon, but works fine on a computer.
* text box on typing screen doesn't clear after you try to edit an entry

Nice idea. If I may suggest, screenshots etc would be very much appreciated by people wanting to try this app.

Typist is a general note taking app, this is a bit more specific. In a to-do app you can make a list of things you want to do & mark them done as you do them, a quick glance can show what remains to be done, then there can be alarms etc on it reminding you when to do something (if you set anything for a particular day & time). You can get the idea about it only once you've used such an app. If your mobile phone has such an app I'd say try it out or you can download one of the many free apps for PC & try it out to see what I mean.

typist is hard tot type on, the keys are so tiny. bigger keys = faster easier typing.

I'll add up some screenshots in the coming days when I get some more work done. currently there is only one "todo list," so I'm gunna add the ability to make multiple lists.

New Version!

this version adds the ability to create multiple lists.

if you've been using the old list app I uploaded, this one wont show the stuff you saved in it.

This is NOT stable yet. I pretty much just threw a bunch of code together, saw that it works at least somewhat, and packaged it. I'll release a better version later. So far this app seems to work quite nicely, but there are bound to be bugs. this is version 0.1, 1.0 isn't too far away though.

I'll post a screenshot with the 1.0 release.

feedback appreciated!

New Release version 0.9

This is pretty stable so far. I'm not calling it 1.0 because I want to test it a little more, but it's leaps and bounds better than the 0.1 release.

This release is NOT going to show lists made with previous versions, so you'll have to manually transfer them.

the scroll up/down buttons have been removed because I added a "Grab and scroll" feature.

enoy, and please report and bugs you encounter or if you have an idea for a new feature.

New Version 1.0

seems pretty much done now. I might add features later or checkmarks next to items, or changing the color or an item. but aside from fixing bugs and more work on the keyboard, there's nothing I really want to add.

I keep running into a bug where my entire todo list gets wiped out (entries replaced with "undefined" ). so this app is UNSTABLE so don't use it for anything other than testing purposes.

unfortunately I won't be making any more changes to this as I was using a trial of Adobe Flash CS4 (thats what you can use to edit these .FLA files) and the trial period is up. CS4 is real expensive.

you exit by hitting the play/pause button on the top of the cowon, just as with any flash app.

its best you don't use the app anyway, since it still had some bad bugs that never got worked out. I might come back to this soon...
