I have this exact same problem with my s739f, Sony says send it back for repair.

Well Sony managed to fix mine, but nearly 6 months later, the same thing has just happened again.
![]() I really don't see the point in having it repaired if it's just going to happen again. And they told me at the time that they don't do replacements. I'm feeling pretty disillusioned about this and half tempted to just fork out for a new one as this player is obviously cursed. I thought it would be wise first of all though to check (again) whether this was a common fault... a quick google search on the subject led me straight here to my previous complaint. But Paus' comment above has worried me, as I now know it's not just mine. I can't find any others though. Ah, what to do... Last edited by Latina; 01-05-2010 at 01:33 PM. |

Hello there,
I am having exactly the same problem with my Sony s639...! The player is almost two years old now, thus, out of warranty. I checked how much the price of repair would be on Sony Repair,... more than 70 pounds! Did you guys have any updates on this? Thanks! |
