Ringke Case= Easily the best one for the Cowon J3

To put it simply this case is just made perfect for the J3.

I live in the United States and the only cowon case I could find was the crappy leather one that was just worthless.

I used exportprive and ordered a ringke Silicone case from Korea and it is perfect.

#1. The case is Silicone but has a leather feel to it. Will not slip in your hand and offers drop protection.

#2. Protects the screen. The case is raised slightly over the screen which means if it falls flat down it will absorb the impact instead of the glass screen.

#3. It's silicone but has a Leather type of feel. It also looks very sexy on the device (comes in multiple colors)

#4. The buttons are molded. They fit perfectly over the cowon j3's buttons and works great.

I'd have to disagree. Although the price tag might be a bit steep for some of you ($50 shipped, with coupon code), you can't beat this all leather case from Noreve. Why buy something that feels like leather when you can buy a true leather case? And the color / style of leather options are endless. This is hands down the best case I've ever owned for any device.

Leather type of feel huh? I never got that from the case but regardless it's a really nice touch that I realized shortly after does not carry across to all their cases.

just ordered the Ringke case and a screen protector. Knowing my luck I am going to drop my J3 walking down the driveway to get it out of the mail on the day it arrives. I got aquablack so the white/silver of my J3 could show through a little.

It is a nice case. A side tip

I wanted the cowon in black but did not need the 16gb. In the USA the 8gb only comes in white. I put this black case over it and it looks just like the black cowon.

How is the ringbo lcd film? Is it easy to apply, and is it like the official cowon lcd film or better?

I just received my Rinke case today, and it is excellent. I was given the official Cowon soft case with my purchase, and this one is miles better. The fit is absolutely perfect, going right up to the edges of the screen while the Cowon only did the edges of the player itself. The buttons also work perfectly and the texture is very nice.

In addition, it only cost me about $12 total to get it shipped to my desk in 2 days. It pays to be near the factory!

does anybody know if the case covers any of the screen? cause i read that in the zune hd case part of the screen was covered, causing some inconvinences.

it only covers the bezel, causing me no inconveniences.

Mine arrived today (ordered from the US to UK) and very pleased with the case as it fits perfectly and the quality feels good. I went with the Aqua Black rather than solid black which I'm not so keen on in the flesh, it just looks like it's faded rather than let some of the J3 itself show through as I'd hoped. The case doesn't cover any of the J3 screen although I'm finding it a little finicky to press parts of the screen right beside the case but I think that's just a case of getting used to it.

I sent them an email and they told me that they are out of stock. I already have the black and it looks good. I believe the scratches will disappear. I f you dont mind send them an email too. Maybe if they see that people are asking they will restock them.
