INterrupted creating library

After disconnecting the walkman from my pc I was in a hurry as I was going to be late and forgot that the walkman should create a library first before I close it off after disconnecting... Does it damage the mp3, software or music?? I contacted sony chat support and there answers were crap... Any help would be much appreciated... Thanks!!

Man....sorry to hear that. I just don't know with my own Sony as I have not had that happen to me.

I assume the worst that can happen is that you might need to format the player and start from scratch. Not necessarily the end of the world I am guessing, but indeed would be a huge PITA, assuming you have all your music on your PC as well.

I would just use the thing normally and see what happens...Keep your fingers crossed, but again, be secure that probably no permanent damage was done. After all, I am quite sure Sony did take situations like this into account.

If you still can rebuild the library successfully and it plays music correctly, i don't think it made damage in any way and in worst case you'll only have to format it.
