Default how is the screen in sunlight?

Hello! I've got an older creative zen that works great but the screen is terrible in the sunlight. I was thinking of upgrading to the x-fi2, espically after reading how it can be extended with lua aps. For those who own a x-fi2, how useable is it outside?

In bright sunlight the display is hard to read, but I thought all displays suffer from this; my older Zens weren't much better at this.
As long as there's no direct sunlight glaring on to it it's usability and readability are quite alright in my opinion..

Some of the newest technology screens should be readable in sunlight I believe. but those are only found on much pricier devices.

When it's bright you can higher the contrast. Then it is ok but not too good.

Pathetic.

Shade with one hand, as with most other hand-held electronics :P
