Question about the Archos

I've only owned a Creative Zen and an ipod Touch...was wondering, if with the Archos, if I transfer files to it, can I delete those filed from my laptop? With iTunes, I have to keep them in my laptop lest I lose them when I sync my iPod with the laptop.

That's why I love the Creative Zen...when I transfer items into the Zen, I can delete them from my laptop.

Is the Archos the same as the Zen?

Yes the Archos is just like a data stick. You have to remove the files from it for them to be gone. Though it is not like a zen in that there is a media manager. You can use WMP or just your folders.
