It does look strikingly similar, just with horrible color schemes. I'll best the SQ is pretty crappy too.

There is not that many different headphone manufacturers in China that make OEM headphones for other companies. Some of their designs are exclusive and others are not, I’m just a bit surprised that Sennheiser doesn’t require exclusivity in their contracts. On another note the little subtle changes between one and the other might be just enough to get away from the exclusivity clause.

Yeah, there was an article on gizmodo recently on how almost all headphones/earbuds under a certain price were just designs 'picked off the shelf' and then branded.
I imagine similar practices occur in lots of industries.

I wonder if the exclusivity might expire after a time? Doesn't make sense for Sennheiser to allow it.

Good question - perhaps like how patents work?

I could be wrong but I doubt it’s like a patent; it’s probably a written agreement that requires meeting quotas promised that if not meet could terminate exclusive agreements or a certain quantity that needs to be ordered per run. Also the manufacturer could always use different drivers, make slight modifications and use different colors or cheaper materials to produce a similar headphone for another company that wants an OEM headphone without breech of said agreement.
