If you never use it, sell it and get what you can now. It will only drop in value over time. It is not an investment opportunity.

I've also sold my Zune HD. It didn't do anything better than any of my smartphones/zune 120. My windows mobile/android phones have much more apps than zune will ever have, much better browser experience, etc.
When I want to listen to music I use my zune 120 because I have all my music in WMA Lossless with 54GB to spare. I also get to enjoy the music without distractions, instead of using music as background noise while texting/web/games. The only thing my zune 120 lacks is Last.fm streaming/ live scrobbling, but I can use my phones data/wifi for that.

Actually...the price that one paid before is irrelevant; it is a "sunk cost." If one could get, say, $80 from selling it used, then the opportunity cost of keeping it is $80. If it is worth more than that amount to you, then you keep it; if not, then you sell it. Simple as that.
