Emodio dead?

I heard that the Emodio software was dissolved in March this year, True or False?
and if it was/has is there a replacement software ?

The software EmoDio still works but the support has been abandoned and the website is close.
The new software Kies replaces both EmoDio for the mp3 players and New PC Studio for the mobile phones.

Since the version 1.5.1, Kies also works with older mp3 players

Kies can recognize up to 4 devices at the same time (I only have 3 USB ports on my computer so only 3 mp3 players on the screenshots)



I tested the following models, all of them are compatible

• R0
• R1
• TicToc
• U5

Thanks for this info, lebellium. Any chance you can check to see if the M1 works with it?

And if Kies is the new standard, will it be included with new models or even old models still in the product loop?

I'm pretty sure the M1 works with it but unfortunately I don't have one at home currently.

Kies is included with the new YP-RB in Korea and TicToc worldwide.
It will be included with the new U6, Q3 and Galaxy Player 50.

But I don't know if it will be included with old models like the P3, M1, R0, R1 and Q2.

I think Kies is a good software for the mobile phones but not very interesting for the mp3 players compared to EmoDio

I don't think so. I did not see this feature. But you can try. It's possible to have both EmoDio and Kies on your computer

thank u so much. do you know where i can get Emodio? i have been trying to put lyrics into my p3 but dnt know how. could u plz help me?

If you go to Properties for the song where you input all the tags, there's a section called Lyrics. I've heard it doesn't work very well though
