Hi guys, long time reader of these boards. In fact, I bought the Clip+ because of this website. I've had the player for about 2 months and all had been going great until a couple weeks ago when I noticed that the power saver feature was no longer working. Any idea how I can fix it? Here are 2 things that I think may have had to do with that feature not working anymore, but not sure:
-used and xp computer to add music to the player. -got a new computer with win. 7 os and added/deleted music to the player. I used that feature almost every day as I usually fall asleep while listening to music or podcasts. Here are the things I've tried to fix the problem: -Installed latest firmware -reset factory settings -changed usb mode and tried using the power saver option -and finally I formatted the Clip+ and am only adding music from the win.7 pc. Nothing has worked so far, I would love your help in fixing this problem as the power saver feature is one of my favorites. Thanks in advance. |

Try using the sleep timer. The power saver powers down the player after a certain time if it is idle, not if it is playing. The sleep timer will power down after the amount of time even if it is playing.
what I really want is something that is between the power saver and the sleep timer which would turn off the player if a certain amount of time passes without a button being pressed on the player. It would automatically reset when a button is pressed, until it is disabled. |
