Zune died

i need help!!! my zune hd died!!!! i accidentally left my zune hd on with an app running (3rd party app if it matters) for a few hours, and now i'm trying to connect it to my computer and its not working! I plugged it to the AC charger and its still not working!!!

Give it some time to accumulate some charge.

how long? oh and the charger have a light that turn red when you charge the device, and there is no red light, only green (like nothing is plugged)

I've seen a player with a dead battery take a good half hour before it registered any charge before. But in all fairness, it was not a Zune HD, either.

You could try restarting it by holding down the power button for ten seconds, or do a complete reset by holding down all three buttons for fifteen seconds.

I would be very surprised if it had died that quickly and easily, it just wouldn't make sense, anyway, glad you got it working!

This probably wasn't related to the app at all. I leave my alarm clock app running all night and there's never been a problem. Plus, if the device isn't plugged in, all apps shut down after 10 minutes.

My Zune has recently begun to go completely unresponsive unless I do a force restart. Music will still play, but the screen will not turn on no matter what. You've probably experienced the same problem.
