MTP Transfer error

I cant seem to transfer video files in MTP mode as I receive a "windows explorer has stopped working" error message (Win 7 Ultimate). Is this error message common in win 7? When I transferred a few music files, I could not see those files when I tried to access them from the J3, but there were still there when I reconnected to the PC. My ZVM was an MTP device and I could transfer files without a problem.

I can transfer video & music files in MSC mode. Any thought as to why I cant transfer video or see music files after an MTP transfer? I should add that the USB icon is present on the task bar in MSC mode but not in MTP.
