IEM Insertion Help

I Just Received my V-moda Vibes which are my First Pair of IEM's and I would like to know, How do you tell if you have received a good seal? And another odd thing I am Experiencing is that My Right "Earhole" has kind of sealed, and when I try to Insert my Vibe It Hurts.
