My X was thrown...

My X was thrown multiple times against a wall and on the floor (please don't ask why). It seemed like there weren't any obvious damages like a cracked screen, but I'm a bit worried about it(I don't have it available in my hands at this moment). It seemed like the home button was working, but i'm not sure about the touch screen.
What are the potential damages that the X could get from a strong impact? Could the touch screen become un-responsive? Could there be connection problems with the computer?

Also, I had a black leather case on the X, which is probably the reason why there weren't any obvious damages.
