Clip+ volume

I've read that the first time a Clip+ is started it asks for the language and region, and depending on the answer, it implements a volume limiter, or it does not. My question is: Is there a way to reset the Clip+ region setting once its applied, and if so, could someone be so nice to write a step-by-step tutorial? Thanks in advance.

Main Menu-> Settings->Reset All->Yes. Pick your language and Either North America or the Rest Of The World. You're back at full volume.

Also under the settings there is another volume>normal or high that you can check off in addition to properly setting the region.

This is the option that does not appear after selecting Europe as the region.

That's why you should never choose Europe for region settings with any player.

I guess when I stated "properly setting the region," I should have been more clear, thought it was obvious after skip252 stated "either North America or the rest of the world."

How do you mean?

I have heard some people say that "I play my xxx at 32". The PC that i'm typing this on has a scale from 0 to 100.

On my Clip+ (not Rockbox'd) there is a sliding scale without any numbers that I could see. So basically it goes up to 100%.

The actuall volume that your ears hear will be strongly affected by the headphones.

Here's a test on how loud some players actually are, in relation to each other: http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum...d.php?p=343274 I didn't have the Clip+ back then, but the difference to the Clip v1 shouldn't be big.

My RB'd Clip+ is noticeably louder than my V1 Fuze..... I had to turn the volume of the Fuze up 3 db steps to get it roughly equivalent. Whether V1 Clip and Fuze are the same, I couldn't say though.
