M6 Ordered
Believe it or not, I just ordered a Meizu M6. Have heard about this player many times, and got a good deal on it, so I went ahead and ordered it. I know it's obsolete, but I've been wanting to get one. Should hold me over until I decide what else I want to get, lol.

I bought this brand new, 4GB for $46, shipping included. Didn't think that was too bad of a deal. TBH, it really wasn't what I was looking for, but it was such a good deal. I've still been looking at the Sony E345 though. Most of them you find with good deals are the red/black ones though. I don't like them. If it were blue/black I would buy it in a heartbeat. The black ones are still $94 at Wally World.

It's actually a good place to get them. You could have the player for 2 years, then jump up and down on them, and Walmart would still give you a refund, lol.

what??? how can local walmart not match web wmart price? Is that common? they treat them as 2 separate entities? If yes, how does the ship to store thing work when you buy online?

When I bought my wife's Clip+ at Best Buy, it showed it cheaper online, but they wouldn't match it either. I guess it is common.

Too bad the Rockbox port for the M6 appears rather stagnant... but there have been some changes to the Wiki page in the last month, so maybe that means something is going on.

I think I'm still going to get the Sony E345. I'm really satisfied with the M6 though. Sounds awesome.

I ordered 3 more M6's. The price dropped to $31.24 for a 4GB. Couldn't pass it up. Bought one for a friend, one for my step son, and a back up for myself, lol. 3 more players for under $100 is a good deal in anyone's book.

Thanks. I'm surprised how similar they sound. The SP has a Philips chipset, and the SL has a Wolfson chipset. I guessed they tweaked them to sound pretty much the same. Has a really lush sound to it.
