1) I've thought a couple of times that it would be neat to be able to sync the zune with a PC or a 360 and then use it as a wireless keyboard/touchpad. It would definitely come in handy when I'm totally reclined holding a baby trying to hunt and peck for keys with my left hand when I can't see the top of the keys.

Really, over these apps I would prioritize some OS improvements:

1) ability to background facebook/twitter so that when I click on a link that opens the browser, I can close the browser and go back to where I was in facebook/twitter.

2) ability to change the list order for albums and songs between alphabetical and recently added first, kind of like I can for the PC Zune sw.

3) ability to search for podcasts through the on-zune marketplace

After being sent grocery shopping without a pen and paper, I would have loved to have some kind of memo or notepad app. I know that there are some "aftermarket" apps that'll do that. You can cross out most of my suggestions if I can get that.

That's the ideal case- but there's been plenty of times when I was out running other errands, or coming home from work when my wife'll call and say she has a list of things for me to pick up. Sometimes I'll have a pen and I'll be able to scrounge up a receipt somewhere, but not always. So I either have to gamble on remembering 7 or 8 items, or I get to wander the grocery store on the phone the whole time asking what's next on the list.

as good as the zune HD UI is, I'd much rather sit on the phone than type in a list while wandering around my local Stop & Shop...
