Default Looking for info on the Zii Egg

I've been curious about the Zii Egg since I started looking for a new PMP about six months ago.

I know that it is currently only a development product and at least at this time, Creative doesn't seem to not be interested in actually releasing it as a regular consumer product.

I might be willing to purchase one but I need some information on it before I pluck down $399 for it. I hope some people here can answer any of the following questions:

What, if any, are the known bugs in the current firmware and hardware?

The Ziilabs website shows that Android 1.6 is available, is there a Android 2.0, 2.1 or 2.2 version available now or will they be making one available soon?

Does it work better/worse running the Plaszma OS or Android?

When running Android, does it have access to the Android App Market?

When running the Plaszma OS, does it have a simular app store/market?

Does anyone know if they will come out with a Zii Egg 2

What about a Zii Egg Phone? CMDA (Verizon or Sprint) or GSM (ATT, T-Mobile, etc)?

If I purchase a Zii Egg from the Ziilabs website, what else do I get with it?

What accessories are available for it? ie: docking station(s), carrying case, etc.

Thanks,
Chuck

There's a whole lot of bugs, both in Plaszma and Android. Some stuff (i.e. bluetooth, front camera) isn't supported yet in Android. But everything is in constant development with new firmware releases.

Currently, only Android 1.6 is available.

They both work pretty well but there's a lot more apps and such you can use in Android.

No, you have to use alternative app markets like Slideme

No, just the applications/demos people have developed/ported onto Plaszma.

You get access to all the stuff needed to develop on the egg (SDK, firmware updates...)

There is only the HDMI cable to allow for video-out.

I don't know anything about a zii egg phone. There's talk about it but nothing definitive.
