Hello everybody! First post!
I bought a new Samsung R1 in Korea about two days ago. My trusty T10 had the unfortunate fate of being washed in the washing machine. You should see what it looks like, the metal casing is all twisted (remarkably, the screen and electronics are all intact). Had to happen on the day before I fly back, didn't it? Yep, I'm a Samsung fan. Being Korean has nothing to do with it, I'm a big fan of DNSe and their Bluetooth wizardry. Anyway, how am I supposed to install the dictionary on this thing? I already updated firmware to V 3.06, but I can't figure out where I copy the dictionary files to. Help would be very appreciated. |

Greetings from Russia! It's hard to find alive people on this forum
![]() Anyway I decided all the problems myself and with earlier topics You can find dictionary in additional themes, that placed here or in official site. Can't find dictionary in standart theme for some reason Good luck with your r1, it way better than T10 (imho))) |

The dictionary on my Mp3 is already there (I have the icon for it).
When I open it, it tells me to go to www.samsungmobile.com to download the files. I did. Except I have no idea where they go

So you download files on your player and can't find 'em or you don't know were they should be placed?

I downloaded & extracted the files, I just can't figure out where they're supposed to be copied into.
I tried copying into root, but that didn't work. Any ideas? |

It might be because they don't sell the R1 in Russia?
Don't know, but they don't sell it down here in NZ either. It's a Korean R1. Try checking the Korean Samsungmobile.com site with Google Translate?

It is sold in Russia, but Russian Dictionary is unlikely to exist. google translate doesn't work well with this site

First, make sure that you have a Korean region on player (settings -> system -> about).
Folder "Dictionary" to copy the folder "My Pack". Check! If not help, try to download the dictionary from the Korean site http://kr.samsungmobile.com/service/...m=1&listType=5 This is written in Korean site I'm from Russia too and sorry for my english.
