Can't update walkman x?

I am trying to update my walkman x to 1.2 or what ever it is. and I keep having issues.

It says that my walkman is connected it.(it charges and I can put music ect. on it. But, when I run the update it tells me that nothing is connected.

I have tried it several time and changed when it was connected. I ran it as an admin also.

Any body else having this issue or no how to fix it.

Have you tried updating it with a different computer? Also, make sure that it's connected with MTP protocol...
