You're entitled to this. Just as I am entitled to steadfastly believe that vague, tersely worded inquiries without even the most basic kind of context are infinitely less useful than targeted questions [and that these need not be overly long and filled with irrelevant details].

Not sure how many mind readers you know online...I don't know any.

So I continue to blame the vagueness of the question - pointing thinly veiled fingers at those who are simply trying to help is bad form, rude and not welcome.

What is your point anyway in bringing this up since it was a dead issue? For my part [since I can only assume you are referring to my original replies] I personally already apologized to the OP [though perhaps unnecessarily, but I did nevertheless just to be polite] and have not contributed to this thread again until now - are you simply backsassing?

I fail to see the relevance of this to the OP, since they wanted to know about the new E344, not the old, crappy, E438.

Well, as has already been said, a little clarification would have helped.

I didn't and still don't know how similar or different the various Sony E-series models are. I figured the info might be useful to the poster, but especially to people who might be doing a web search on some related question.

I thought about starting a new thread, but it seemed silly. Maybe putting such info in a Wiki or FAQ somewhere would be better. Any suggestions?
