I dropped my Philips GoGear 8 GB MP3 player in a pool 2 months ago...
and the thing is, it will power on ONLY if I plug it into a wall charger. it will NOT power on if I plug it into a USB port on a computer. How do I/can I prepare it for data recovery, unless I will have to send it to a company that specializes in data recovery? And if I do, where is the closest place to me? (I live in San Marcos, Texas) This happened to me about two months ago.
