Default How to continue to play a song when turning player back on.

Is there a way the Zune can continue to play a song at the same point when you turn the player back after shutting down

nope...why not just pause and put the player to sleep...wake it up, and hit play....good to go.

Yeah I tried that once. I put the song on pause, turned it off and then turned it back on, hit the button at the bottom and I saw 'Now Playing' and clicked on it and the song picked up right where I left off. I didn't know if putting it on pause would cause problems with the player.

nah, pause is fine. But eventually the player will disengage sleep mode, and shut down. But i'm not sure when that happens. It is more then 2-3 hours.

I leave mine in "sleep mode" overnight every night and it wakes up right away...it may do it but it is probably around 24 hours or something.

It's until the battery is nearly drained, which might be days when it's in sleep/suspend.

Yeah I realized a great thing about the ZuneHD this week and that's that it barely drains any battery if left on in sleep/lock. I had it on for 5 hours or so and it dropped 2% I think? It's pretty awesome so I don't have to constantly worry about shutting it off to save batteries
