The J3 wins for battery duration.
The V5 wins for Video size and formats. The J3 isn't quite as smooth as the Zune UI, but it is closer than any previous Cowon. Your best bet for ebooks would be the V5. If you're willing to buy a V5 though, I recommend the Archos 5 internet tablet running Android. Same size, but far more potential. |

so the equation boils down to the Cowon's as expected.
So can u please give me the final verdict. Cowon V5 or the Cowon J3 Thanks |

These are two different beasts, RAMDAS. Get the big V5 for a windows CE based PMP with no Wifi but the ability to run win CE apps. Get the J3 for easier pocket-ability and the potential of custom flash-based menus and media apps.

@ RAMDAS
Let us know how the J3 rocks, man. Did you go with the 16GB? I've got $200 burning a hole in my pocket. It's gonna be a J3 or 1/3 of the way to some woody Grados.
