Default Q2 Video settings.

Hi,

I've a little problem with rendering videos for my q2. It should support mp4 converted with mpeg IV and wmv files but it does not :/ i tested pretty much every available setting on super c converter but all I get is that icon of my video changed form '?' to '>'. Please help me ;(

Hi,
I'm thinking of maybe getting the Q2, so did some research around the net.. and found this :

Not sure if that's also true with Q2 but might be worth trying..

Have you checked the frame size of the wmv file your putting onto the Q2? I used to have a Q1 which had no problem playing alot wmv files but when i got it replaced with a Q1 It kept on giving messages such as incorrect format because it was converting wmv into all kinds of funny frame sizes that wouldnt fit.

See my thread on video settings.

My YP-Q2 was purchased in the UK about 2 weeks ago.

I presume they are all similar tho.

Cool Use this...

Get MEncoder (from MPlayer package) and use this DOS-command:

mencoder "sourcefile.avi" -o "destinationfile.svi" -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4 -vf scale=320:240,crop=320:240 -mf fps=25 -oac mp3lame -lameopts cbr:br=128

Works like a charm.

Took me weeks to find out, though :-)

Enjoy!
