Share Your CLAW UI Settings

Today I tried to take some pictures of my Cowon S9 to share my CLAW UI settings, but I learned quickly that it's hard taking pictures of the S9 screen.

So I'll describe: My main menu 1 has this wallpaper, it's brighter and more beautiful on my S9, then the icons are from Crystals Theme with the 12 icons laid out like this.






I have a different wallpaper for each screen and each menu but Menu 1 is my favorite. Very colorful!!

My music menu has the enlarged album art with no frame, a dark red clock, bright yellow title, then below the album art I have a white bold italic artist name, under that a light blue album name, and under that bright green song name. The only other change I made is I added the power button to the footer.

Finally, I have an excellent Browser Menu setup with a multi-blue cubed wallpaper with bright green text and a "...." before each text.

I don't have photos to post up of my settings yet, but here's a quick description of things I've changed, the rest I left as default:

Icon Settings - Arrival: Drop all at once, speed 8. Label alpha: 75, font size: 12

Current Track Display: Artist-Title
Enable Shake: Yes
Theme Wallpaper: No
Wallpaper Blender: 50 / 0

[MUSIC]

Title Content: Artist-Title

Play Info - Display: Artist-Album-Title (I wish there was an option to have this flipped, eg: Title-Album-Artist)
All font size and mode: 17, Bold (I should also point out I use a custom font - forget the name!)

Shake and Swipe - Next Swipe: R to L, Next Shake: <Global>, Enlarged: Yes, Swipe Up: Vol Up, Swipe Down: Vol Down

Disable Quicklist: No

Album Art - Large Art: Hell Yes, Stretch: No (so I can systematically notice which album arts I need to retag with bigger ones), Slide and speed: Yes, 45, Stop Slide Same Album: Yes, Hide Frame: Yes

Album Tap: Quicklist

Footer Settings - Functions - Side A: Rew, Play/Pause, Fwd, EQ, None - Side B: Playlist Mng, Playlist, Boundary, Shake/Rotate, None

Progress Indicators - Font Size: all 16

Fast Matrix: Yes
Wallpaper: 50 / 0

I change my wallpaper like... once a week. i love photoshop.
I use the cowon icons (except for my 'apps') and a user font (as you can see).

with Timeline enable (change out screens whenever they seem old)

I'm using dnws music UI right now so can't take a photo of my claw music screen.

A brief rundown of main settings -

Headers invisible
Footers new version
Wallpapers off (plain black screen)
D-Playlists on
Auto resume on
Last screen resume on
Icons arrive Slide

@ EddieE: your icons look really sweet! are they transparent? I'm using the regular stock icons, because they're so minimalistic. like yours are! can i find them online?

EddieE: if you already take ultra-horrible pics, at least have the decency to resize them so they don't break the page.

I like that plain and simple look how do you remove the top bar up there.

If its not too much trouble can you post your settings?

Removing the top and bottom bar on the main menu is done via Menu 1 > Empty Area Touch > Hide Overlays and Hide Overlays On Start > Yes.

You might need to go to Claw's settings menu and enable/disable a few random things, so the settings "stick" or get re-initialized. It's some kind of voodoo, not sure what triggers a fresh install. I needed to do that a few times when upgrading the firmware. But if the UI looks ok to you, all is fine.
